Job summary

Casey Family Programs is seeking a Director of CQI & Business Planning to lead continuous quality improvement, budgeting, and major project work for Child & Family Services. You’ll translate data into actionable insights, guide cross‑functional teams, and advance systems that improve outcomes and efficiency.

The role emphasizes equity and collaboration, with responsibilities spanning strategy, reporting, and staff development in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, public policy, or another human services field, plus at least seven years of experience in operational and/or analytical roles, is required.
  • Experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff is essential.
  • Proven experience managing organization‑wide project lifecycles and leading large, multifunctional teams.
  • Expertise working with highly complex, organization‑wide data and reporting systems.
  • Systems thinker with strong problem‑solving skills and a demonstrated ability to identify and execute operational improvements.
  • Highly self‑motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage individual workload while performing effectively in a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead project teams in deploying technology and data solutions that help solve business problems.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Director of Operations to support CFS business planning, budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Supervise CFS Practice & Operations team members, providing coaching, feedback, training, performance evaluation, and leadership development opportunities.
  • Lead complex, cross‑functional projects from planning through execution, including scope definition, timeline management, deliverable tracking, and team communication.
  • Provide strategic leadership for quality improvement efforts through data analysis, operational reporting, and implementation of effective improvement practices.
  • Integrate operational processes and technology initiatives to improve efficiency, strengthen systems, and advance equitable outcomes.
  • Analyze, interpret, and report operational, financial, and program performance data; engage leaders, staff, and stakeholders in applying findings to business strategy and practice improvement.
  • Build relationships with staff to understand barriers, challenges, workflow constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee the Continuing Education and Job Training (CEJT) scholarship program which provides financial and program support to young adults as they pursue post‑secondary training and education.
