Job summary

Archer is seeking a highly motivated Director, Accounting Controllership to join our finance team in San Jose, CA. This leader will oversee payroll, accounts payable, revenue operations, and stock administration across multiple jurisdictions while aligning with our global expansion and SoX controls.

Reporting to SVP Finance & Chief Accounting Officer, you will drive operational excellence, implement system improvements, and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA required.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong background in payroll, stock admin, revenue operations and accounts payable.
• Deep subject matter expertise in above areas with ability to resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions ensuring compliance with local laws and policies.
• Lead accounts payable function with timely payments and vendor relationships.
• Manage revenue accounting, billing, revenue recognition and reporting.
• Lead international expansion accounting ensuring local statutory compliance.
• Serve as the SOX lead for controllership and drive quarterly/annual reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, workflows and automation.
