Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10 years of experience in purchasing in healthcare OR 5 years of experience with a master's degree.
• Strong contract negotiation and project management skills.
• Ability to coordinate with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Reviews contracts to identify expirations and determines renewal disposition.
• Manages communications and literature research to support actions.
• Supports leadership with pricing, utilization, and data for cost-effective purchasing.
• Consults with users to identify and implement non-salary expense cost reductions.
• Develops analyses and methodologies for cost reduction efforts.
• Performs other related duties as required.
