Job summary

Ochsner Health in Louisiana seeks a materials management professional to support inventory control, customer service, and problem solving across multiple facilities. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.

You will generate monthly reports, ensure accurate receipt and issue of supplies, and contribute to continuous improvement of supply chain processes while complying with applicable regulations and safety

Qualifications

Experience in inventory management or distribution roles.
Healthcare supply chain experience preferred.
Forklift certification required for Warehouse District Row within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Maintain service levels by monitoring the customer service email and phone line.
Generate and analyze monthly productivity and supply chain reports.
Ensure inventory and purchase orders are received, issued, and returned accurately.
Train new employees on receiving and central supply duties.
Resolve errors with receipts, orders, and par levels.
Work to improve supply chain processes, metrics, and customer satisfaction.
Identify and address internal and external customer needs.
Perform other related duties as required.
