Job summary

Koch Engineered Solutions, LLC, through its DEPCOM Power unit, seeks a Director of Construction to steer a portfolio of utility-scale solar projects from inception through completion. The role supports the Project Delivery team with strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and PBM-aligned practices.

The position is based remotely in the U.S. with up to 50% travel to project sites and Koch offices as needed. A background in construction management and experience leading teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Construction experience leading teams and projects
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with varying scopes and deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Proficient with project management software
• Strong financial acumen with budget development and cost control
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead the execution of a portfolio of utility-scale solar projects, ensuring safety, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
• Provide strategic oversight to portfolio construction leaders on contracting strategy, subcontractor models, schedule risk, and mitigation of critical path constraints.
