Job summary

Capital One’s Experience Design team seeks a Product Design Director to lead our Concierge Products group, including Velocity Black experiences and back-end agent experiences. You will shape a bold product vision, guide a cross-functional design team, and partner with research, product, and tech leadership to deliver high-impact, customer-centered experiences.

• At least 8 years in a product design role.
• At least 3 years leading design teams.
• Proven leadership in cross-disciplinary design.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-disciplinary design team and drive design strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Elevate the quality and maturity of Capital One's design practice.
• Collaborate with research, product, and tech leadership.
• Champion human-centered approaches balancing customer and business outcomes.
• Develop artifacts such as vision stories, journey maps, blueprints, designs, and prototypes.
• Present work to senior stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
