Job summary

Vitra Health in Massachusetts seeks a Director of Compliance to build and lead the compliance function for a fast-growing organization across MassHealth and CMS requirements.

The role partners with executive leadership to keep compliance practical, measurable, and embedded in daily operations, while directing internal audits and education programs. You will mentor a growing team and report to the VP of Quality and Compliance to drive strategic improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive healthcare experience; experience in healthcare compliance required.
• Experience with Medicaid and/or MassHealth programs, preferably in home-based settings.
• Proven leadership experience managing compliance, quality, audit, regulatory, or operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct the compliance function across programs, reporting to the VP of Quality and Compliance.
• Lead the annual compliance risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee monitoring, auditing, investigations, and corrective action activities.
• Develop and maintain compliance dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting tools.
• Lead organizational responses to regulatory findings, external audits, and compliance investigations.
• Mentor and develop the compliance team and manage the department budget.
