Job summary

The Rock-It Company in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Director, Compliance to lead the U.S. based Compliance team and design the U.S. compliance foundation for its global operations. The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and supports U.S. operations across all businesses.

You will oversee TSA, CTPAT, FMC, DG, and CBP compliance, build training programs, and partner with stakeholders across the company. In-office presence required five days a week with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in compliance, incl. TSA requirements for IACs and CCSFs
• At least 5 years as Primary Indirect Air Carrier Security Coordinator (IACSC)
• 5+ years leading and coaching teams
• Experience with CBP, CTPAT, OFAC, BIS, DOT, FMCSA, export controls, OSHA preferred
• Familiarity with FTZ or bonded warehouse operations a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication, judgment, integrity
• Ability to work across functions and with senior leadership
• Tech-savvy with MS Office, PDF, DocuSign; AI tools a plus
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Create and evolve the compliance foundation for U.S. operations
• Lead U.S. Compliance team and set goals
• Oversee TSA, KSMS, STAs, TSA training, and CCSFs
• Manage CTPAT portal and audits
• Monitor FMC licenses and coordinate with QI
• Ensure DG compliance and training
• Onboard and maintain customer/vendor relationships
• Support training deployment and risk mitigation
