Job summary

The Rock-It Company seeks a Director of Compliance to lead the U.S. Compliance team and design the U.S. compliance foundation for our global operations based in Los Angeles, CA.

The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and will require in-office presence five days a week with travel as needed. Responsibilities include building a scalable compliance program, managing TSA inspections, CCSFs, CTPAT audits, and DOT/FMCSA requirements, while coordinating cross-functional initiatives and risk

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of progressive compliance experience including TSA IAC/CCSFs
• Minimum five years as Primary Indirect Air Carrier Security Coordinator (IACSC)
• Five+ years leading and coaching teams
• Knowledge of CBP, CTPAT, OFAC, BIS, DOT, FMCSA, OSHA is preferred
• Familiarity with FTZ or bonded warehouse operations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the US compliance foundation for Rock-It Company operations.
• Lead US Compliance team and drive professional development.
• Oversee TSA inspections, KSMS, STAs, TSA training, and CCSFs.
• Manage CTPAT accounts, annual security profiles, and audits.
• Coordinate FMC licenses and QI involvement; ensure DG compliance.
• Onboard and maintain customer/vendor relationships with CBP/DTCSA requirements.
• Support due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
• Partner with stakeholders and monitor regulatory developments.
