Job summary

Chapter 13 Trustee Middle District of Alabama seeks a Director of Compliance to lead a comprehensive program spanning U.S. federal, state, and local travel regulations, plus EU/UK/Canada/Mexico requirements.

The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer with a dotted line to the Global President to align compliance with global strategy. Responsibilities include monitoring DOT, FTC, ADA, TSA, and data-protection standards, while coordinating with Legal, IT, Marketing, and Finance to ensure accurate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; JD, advanced degree, or compliance certification strongly preferred.
8+ years of progressive compliance experience in travel, hospitality, airline, or e-commerce.
Experience with GDPR/UK GDPR, PIPEDA, and/or Mexican data protection law.
Familiarity with state Seller of Travel laws and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead the organization's compliance program across US federal, state, local, and international regulations.
Monitor, interpret, and implement regulatory requirements across EU, UK, Canada, Mexico, and other markets.
Collaborate with Legal, IT Security, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to embed compliance into operations.
Prepare regulatory reports and advise executive leadership on changes affecting market entry and product launches.
