Job summary

McPhail Sanchez, LLC is seeking a Director of Compliance to lead our comprehensive regulatory program across U.S. federal, state, and local requirements, while monitoring EU/UK/Canada/Mexico regulations, and other markets we serve.

You will ensure our booking, ticketing, payment, accessibility, and consumer-protection practices meet all applicable laws. You will report to the Chief Legal Officer with a dotted-line to the Global President to align compliance with global business strategy and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; JD, advanced degree, or compliance certification strongly preferred.
8+ years of progressive compliance experience within travel, hospitality, airline, or e-commerce industries.
Experience with GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA, and/or Mexican data protection law strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the organization’s compliance program across federal, state, local, and international regulatory requirements.
Monitor, interpret, and implement regulatory requirements across the EU, UK, Canada, Mexico, and other markets.
Oversee security, data privacy, consumer protection, accessibility, and payment compliance initiatives.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and a compliance risk matrix by jurisdiction and business line.
Provide training and guidance to cross-functional teams; report to the Chief Legal Officer and align with global strategy.
Manage responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, and enforcement actions; drive remediation plans.
