Job summary

YWCA Oklahoma City seeks a dynamic leader to expand community partnerships and advance the organization’s mission through relationship-building and outreach. You will serve as a visible ambassador at events, coordinate campaigns, and guide the volunteer program from recruitment to retention.

The role requires collaborating across teams, managing multiple priorities, and upholding the values of compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and sustain authentic relationships with diverse communities.
• Knowledge of nonprofit work, development, public relations, or volunteer management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead community relationships and partnerships outreach.
• Represent YWCA Oklahoma City at events, meetings, and speaking engagements.
• Coordinate United Way and other campaigns, including scheduling and presenters.
• Develop and manage volunteer programs, recruitment, orientation, and retention.
• Oversee program communications and engagement across campus and external partners.
• Maintain documentation and ensure confidentiality and compliance with policies.
