Job summary

YWCA Oklahoma City is seeking a Grants Manager to lead foundation and corporate grant strategy, research, development, and stewardship. This role coordinates with program, finance, and advancement teams to ensure applications, budgets, narratives, data, and reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of nonprofit grant writing and management experience.
• Experience with grant calendars, reporting, and funder stewardship.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate across program, finance and advancement teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and nonprofit databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, research, and evaluation of foundation, corporate, and other grant opportunities that align with the organization’s mission and needs.
• Maintain a grant calendar tracking deadlines, renewals, and funder requirements.
• Coordinate with program, finance, and advancement leadership to assess funding opportunities and priorities.
• Write letters of inquiry, grant proposals, applications, concept papers, and related funder correspondence.
• Coordinate the collection of program narratives, budgets, statistics, outcomes, and other materials for applications.
• Develop compelling proposals communicating community need, impact, and capacity.
• Coordinate internal review and secure approvals prior to submission.
• Track application outcomes and maintain records of submissions, wins, and declines.
• Serve as primary staff contact for foundation and corporate funders throughout the grant lifecycle.
