Job summary

Associa is seeking an Executive Director to lead a management team and oversee a portfolio of community properties. The role focuses on employee and client retention, cross‑functional collaboration, and implementing company-wide processes to improve client services.

You will supervise operations and accounting staff, build strong client relationships, and ensure timely reporting and adherence to company programs. This role demands GAAP knowledge and expert MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience.
• 3–7 years of Community Association and Portfolio Management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP at a proficient level.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at an expert level.
• Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal).
• Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of duties.
• Time management and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of community properties as assigned.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with leadership and support teams.
• Provide supervision, oversight and training for a staff of management.
• Implement a proactive communication calendar for clients.
• Determine staffing needs and oversee onboarding and training.
• Conduct Performance Reviews and quarterly check-ins with direct reports.
• Oversee retention efforts for at-risk clients and manage account transitions as needed.
• Attend meetings with directors/clients as needed.
• Provide timely reporting and communication to leadership about clients and team.
• Oversee financial aspects including payroll overtime control and productivity.
• Ensure delivery of materials per contract and adherence to programs.
