Common Energy in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking a Director of Community Engagement to lead outreach and enrollment for the state's community solar program, delivering projected savings to residents served by DelMarVa Power.

You will build and manage relationships with local businesses, chambers, housing providers, and faith-based groups, plan events, and collaborate with the Growth team to maximize impact and brand presence.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of conference event planning and execution experience.
• Strong network in the Wilmington area with business leaders and housing providers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan for 12-20 yearly events and related budgets.
• Coordinate logistics, booths, and marketing materials for events.
• Capture leads and share with the Growth team; analyze post-event results.
