Job summary

Ampion is seeking a mission-driven Enrollment Advisor for Maryland Community Outreach to expand access to clean energy among underserved communities. This part-time, field-based role (20-30 hours/week) focuses on attending events, educating residents, and guiding on-the-spot enrollments.

You will build partner relationships, travel to MD and neighboring states, and work evenings and weekends. Top performers may transition to full-time as the program grows.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in outreach or customer-facing roles with goal-tracking
• Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain solar concepts clearly and build trust in diverse settings
• Experience navigating diverse communities with empathy

Responsibilities

• Execute enrollment events and drive on-the-spot enrollments at community events
• Guide subscribers through enrollment process using tablets and tools
• Cultivate relationships with community-based orgs and local partners
• Develop strategies to reach underserved populations, ensuring culturally competent outreach
• Track enrollment metrics and event activity monthly
