Job summary

Greater DC Diaper Bank in the Washington metro area is seeking a Director of Communications and Digital Systems to lead the organization's external communications and raise its visibility. The CDS role blends strategic leadership with hands-on marketing, data management, and Salesforce administration to support donors, partners, and programs.

You will develop and execute an annual communications plan, manage digital channels, and coordinate data analytics across donor and inventory systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of nonprofit communications experience.
• Extensive Salesforce experience as end user and administrator.
• Experience with MailChimp, Canva, Google products, and WordPress.
• Proven ability to manage projects to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategist and project manager for marketing and communications.
• Develop, execute, and analyze the annual communications plan.
• Represent GDCDB to the public.
• Serve as Salesforce Administrator and manage data.
• Oversee newsletters, website and social media.
• Manage Google Adwords campaigns and analytics.
• Collaborate with leadership and partner organizations.
