Job summary

Kendra Scott, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Director of Commercial Management to drive data-informed commercial decisions across activations, launches, loyalty initiatives, and promotions. This exempt, salaried role partners with Finance, Merchandising, Marketing and Planning to align creative ambition with financial goals and inventory realities.

This is the first Commercial Planning leadership role, tasked with establishing new ways of working, guardrails, and scenarios, while supporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Retail Merchandising or Business or equivalent work experience.
8–12 years' experience in retail for a high-growth company.
Ability to break down large initiatives into actionable tasks.
Data-driven approach to decisions and solutions.
Omnichannel allocation experience (brick & mortar + ecommerce).
Strong Excel and analytical tools to drive results.
Growth mindset with willingness to explore new ideas and risks.
Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills.

Responsibilities

Support development and evaluation of promotional and commercial strategies across channels.
Lead scenario planning to evaluate revenue, margin, demand and inventory outcomes.
Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, Finance and Planning to align assumptions and outcomes.
Develop methodologies to evaluate promotional performance and share insights.
Identify inventory risks and ensure alignment with availability.
