Job summary

K&A;I Healthcare Services is seeking a Director of Clinical Services to oversee the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, PRP, SEP, and outpatient services. The role ensures clinical soundness, COMAR/CARF compliance, and best practices in behavioral health, working with KIHS Compliance consultant and KIHS leadership.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field, Maryland licensure, and 5+ years of clinical experience with 3+ years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Healthcare, administrative, or related field is required or preferred.
• Maryland licensure: LCSW-C, LCPC, or Licensed Psychologist.
• Board-approved Clinical Supervisor status with Maryland boards.
• 5+ years clinical experience in mental health/behavioral health.
• 3+ years supervisory or clinical leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Maryland mental health system, Medicaid/MCO programs, COMAR, CARF, HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall clinical leadership and oversight of OMHC, PRP, SEP, and outpatient therapy services.
• Maintain ultimate clinical oversight, ensure COMAR/CARF compliance and supervise clinical staff.
• Ensure compliance with COMAR, CARF accreditation standards, Maryland Medicaid requirements and agency policies.
• Supervise the Clinical Coordinator and program managers.
• Lead clinical training sessions for staff development and compliance updates.
• Oversee credentialing and licensure verification for clinical staff.
• Monitor clinical productivity and outcomes, assist in workforce planning.
• Participate in QA/PI initiatives, surveys, audits and corrective action plans.
