Job summary

Solero Behavioral Transitions in Youngstown seeks a senior clinical leader to oversee all psychiatric programs, ensuring evidence-based care and compliance with licensing and accreditation standards. You will mentor diverse clinical teams, collaborate with medical staff, and drive outcomes and performance improvements in a dual diagnosis outpatient/inpatient setting.

The role requires an active clinical license and at least two years of progressive leadership in behavioral health, including

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted clinical license required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPCC).
• Minimum of 2+ years of progressive clinical leadership experience in behavioral health.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatric hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership for all clinical programs and therapeutic services, including inpatient and outpatient psychiatric treatment.
• Ensure implementation and fidelity of evidence-based treatment models for behavioral health populations.
• Lead, mentor, and support multidisciplinary clinical teams across professionals and nursing leadership.
• Collaborate with Medical Staff and Nursing to support clinical quality, patient safety, and continuity of care.
• Monitor and analyze clinical outcomes, utilization metrics, length of stay, and quality indicators.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state licensing, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee clinical documentation standards and treatment planning processes.
• Participate in accreditation readiness, audits, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Support staff development, clinical supervision, and ongoing education.
• Serve as a clinical resource for complex cases and escalated patient care concerns.

Pay: $75,000-$85,000/Year | Location: 5455 Clarkins Dr, Youngstown, OH 44515 | Schedule: Day Shift | On-call as Needed

About Solero Behavioral Transitions in Youngstown

Solero Behavioral Transitions in Youngstown offers a safe, structured environment for adults managing substance use and mental health challenges. As a dual diagnosis outpatient program, we provide integrated treatment for individuals with primary substance use or mental health disorders. Our services include individual and group therapy, case management, and life skills training, designed to support long-term recovery and community reintegration.

What You’ll Do

• Provide oversight and leadership for all clinical programs and therapeutic services, including inpatient and outpatient psychiatric treatment

What We’re Looking For

• Active, unrestricted clinical license required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPCC)
• Minimum of 2+ years of progressive clinical leadership experience in behavioral health
• Demonstrated experience in inpatient psychiatric hospital settings
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Evidence-based psychiatric treatment models
  • Multidisciplinary team leadership
  • Regulatory and accreditation standards for behavioral health
• Proven ability to lead teams while balancing clinical quality and operational performance
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience overseeing both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services is helpful
  • Prior Director or Manager-level leadership experience
