Medical City Alliance is seeking a Director of Infection Prevention to lead our infection prevention program across Fort Worth. You will oversee surveillance, policy development and collaborate with Pharmacy and Facilities to prevent transmission and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role requires Texas RN licensure, a BSN, and ideally CIC or CPHQ certification with strong quality improvement experience. You will mentor staff, train clinicians, and report data through Theradoc to supporting

• 2 years of RN experience required.
• Hospital infection control or related experience preferred.
• Quality and process improvement activities in hospital preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• Registered Nurse License Texas required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• CIC (Certification Infection Control) preferred.
• CPHQ or other quality certification preferred.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Supports all functions of surveillance, prevention and monitoring of infections. Reports data to NSHN (Center for Disease Control and Prevention infections data bank) through a Corporate tool called Theradoc. Works collaboratively to develop action plans with all departments to ensure compliance of infection control policies, handwashing and other regulatory standards related to prevention of infection transmission. Works closely with Pharmacy to monitor and develop action plans for antimicrobial stewardship. Works with Facilities Management program to ensure environmental compliance for infection control prevention. Develops routine education to orientate new and current employees and physicians on topics related to infection control and prevention. Makes decisions about program changes and enhancements.

What qualifications you will need:

• 2 years of experience as an RN is required.
• Hospital infection control or related experience preferred.
• Quality and process improvement activities in hospital preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• Registered Nurse License eligible to practice in the State of Texas required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
