Job Description:

Client is seeking an experienced individual for a Director, Clinical Engineering position to manage Healthcare operations in Zanesville, OH. The role involves overseeing various medical equipment, providing hands-on expertise, and leading staff with a focus on process improvement. The ideal candidate is a high-level leader capable of managing a team of supervisors and technical professionals. This position offers growth opportunities for accomplished HTM leaders.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the clinical engineering program at Healthcare.
  • Lead a team of supervisors and technical professionals, offering guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment.
  • Implement process improvements to boost efficiency, compliance, and service quality.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical teams to align biomedical services with patient care priorities.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and hospital policies.
  • Manage departmental budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts.
  • Identify opportunities for team development and continuous improvement in healthcare technology management (HTM).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years managing biomedical services within a large healthcare system.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and C-suite stakeholders to align HTM strategies with organizational goals.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance standards, including CIHQ, DNV, and Joint Commission (JCAHO).
  • Solution-oriented mindset with critical thinking skills and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Excellent service delivery skills and ability to build lasting partnerships with staff, vendors, and clients.

Position Summary:

Key Duties:

Basic Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of management experience in biomedical services.
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of clinical devices.
