Job summary

Cognitiv is seeking a Director of Client Success to lead a growing team of Client Success/Account Managers, own client health, retention, and growth, and drive a commercially minded organization across cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Data Science.

The role requires hands-on leadership, deep knowledge of programmatic advertising, and a proactive, curious mindset to expand client relationships and maximize business impact.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in client-facing roles within digital media/programmatic advertising.
• Strong understanding of client relationship management and growth strategies.
• Track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Client Success team, setting expectations and driving performance.
• Serve as a senior strategic advisor to key clients and ensure business goals are met.
• Be hands-on with clients—join calls, lead meetings, and support the team as needed.
• Oversee client health and proactively identify risks to retention and growth.
• Partner with Sales to drive post-close onboarding, adoption, performance, and retention.
• Establish scalable processes, standards, and best practices for Client Success.
