Job summary

NBBJ | ESI Design, based in New York, is seeking a Client Development Director who will serve as the studio's market ambassador, spending about 75% of time with clients, connectors, and industry leaders to grow business.

You will work with operations and creative leadership to align pursuit activity with revenue goals, travel for in-person meetings, and identify opportunities while collaborating with the Communications team.

Qualifications

• Must build relationships with senior decision makers and influencers.
• Ability to identify and qualify new clients, markets and opportunities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for in-person engagement.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly to meet clients, prospects, and connectors, spending majority time on the road.
• Lead relationship-building activities aligned with top-line revenue goals.
• Identify target markets, clients and lead lists for potential opportunities.
• Collaborate with Communications and leadership to shape positioning and collateral.
• Advise on key value points for marketing materials and proposals.
