Job summary

Amtrak is seeking a Director of Sys Design & Dev. - Client Experience in the United States to lead teams delivering Tier III support, risk remediation, device management, and engineering for client devices.

You will drive end-to-end service design, delivery, lifecycle management, and performance outcomes while partnering with business and DT teams to ensure secure, scalable, customer-focused digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience.
• Plus 11 years of relevant work experience.
• Leadership experience in managing engineering teams and influencing executive management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of client hardware-based solutions to meet business requirements.
• Lead and mentor a team of client device engineers, fostering innovation and excellence.
• Directs end-to-end design, delivery and lifecycle management across enterprise domains.
• Provide strategic advice on client-centric solutions aligned with mission and objectives.
• Establish service offering frameworks, definitions, and performance metrics.
• Ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of multiple IT projects with resource planning.
