Job summary

Raymond James Financial, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Client Access Technology in Saint Petersburg, FL.

This hybrid role leads the Client Access core engineering team, partnering with Product, Architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable digital client experiences. You will direct complex projects through the SDLC using Agile practices, oversee vendor and in-house solutions, and manage budgets, capacity, and talent.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of relevant technology experience, including software development and people-management or technical-leadership experience.
• Experience leading the delivery and support of enterprise applications in a complex, regulated environment is preferred.
• Financial services experience, particularly with client-facing digital platforms, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements with Product/Architecture/business stakeholders and ensure end-to-end integration across channels and data sources.
• Direct projects through the SDLC using Agile practices and manage scope, schedule, risk, quality, budget, and outcomes.
• Oversee internally developed and vendor-provided solutions, including vendor selection and coordination, implementation planning and ongoing support.
• Manage workforce capacity, budgets, and engineering processes; ensure delivery standards and accountability.
• Promote sound engineering practices, continuous improvement, and innovation with trends in financial services.
• Lead, coach, and develop engineers; build a culture of trust, accountability, inclusion, and learning.
• Attract, develop, and retain talent; support workforce planning and succession.
• Establish operational ownership for production support, incident response, and service improvement.
