Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Child Care to join our team! As the Director, you will be responsible for selecting age-appropriate programs, activities, and curricula, supporting staff, managing schedules and supplies, fostering positive communication, and implementing strategies to grow our outreach. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of child development and education, and experience managing staff.

Responsibilities

1. Follow our accredited curriculum tailored to each classroom’s needs.
2. Ensure compliance with county, state regulations, and PA Keys standards.
3. Manage staff expectations, handle scheduling, and resolve interpersonal conflicts.
4. Review and approve lesson plans, printed materials, bulletin announcements, and newsletters.
5. Plan extracurricular activities, including entertainment and field trips.

Qualifications

1. Required licensing/certification for this role.
2. Experience working with children and as a Center Director.
3. At least an associate's or bachelor’s degree in ECE (preferred).
4. Proven experience managing a team.
5. Deep understanding of childcare, child development, and education.
