Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Childcare Director is responsible for providing a supportive and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.The Childcare Director is responsible for the daily operation and management of the Childcare Early Learning Center (CELC) and the After School Enrichment Program (ASE). Duties include supervision of the CELC and ASE program, ensuring compliance with all Department of Human Services regulations, curriculum design, considering the size, scope, and budget of program area(s) and branch volume in classification. This full-time, exempt position will supervise full-time and part-time staff.The Childcare Director is required to complete annual Keystone STARS trainings and comply with the branch's STAR level requirements as well as increase the program's star level. Additional responsibilities include hiring, onboarding and training of staff; curriculum development; budget control; transportation of school-age students to the branch as part of ASE, and adhering to all regulatory and Association standards. Assists with annual campaign activities.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
