Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Director in the BTI group to lead high-impact, forward-looking finance insights for CFOs and enterprise leaders. You will mentor Analysts, shape research, and collaborate across teams while traveling up to 25% as needed.

You will translate complex data into actionable guidance, drive thought leadership, and support sales with market insights to advance client priorities and Gartner's research agenda.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years in finance, with 2+ years AI experience.
• Career exposure in strategic finance or special projects with the CFO, across finance processes and data sources.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought-provoking and highly leveraged 'must-have insights' content.
• Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership and offer actionable approaches to client needs.
• Perform in-depth analysis to identify root causes of client barriers and reframe thinking to drive strategy forward.
• Demonstrate thought leadership in establishing Insights positions across a team of analysts.
• Provide provocative, independent insights to Gartner leaders that can evolve a research agenda.
• Research, analyze and predict market trends to provide actionable insights for clients and vendors.
• Offer clients with actionable advice aligned to content area via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
• Create and deliver high-value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Support BTI and Sales by serving as voice of the market to drive engagement and growth.
• Provide high-quality and timely content peer review.
• Build credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner insights, methodology and strategy.
• Participate in innovation and research discussions and collaborate across the Insights community.
• Identify research process improvements or develop new processes for service delivery.
