Job summary

Gartner, Inc. is seeking a Director in the BTI group to lead provocative, forward-looking insights for CFOs and finance leaders. The role centers on turning analytical research into must-have content, shaping Gartner’s research agenda, and engaging clients via meetings and conferences.

You will develop in-depth market analyses, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate across global teams to deliver impactful client guidance and presentations at Gartner events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years’ experience in a finance function, ideally with 2+ years of AI experience.
• Experience in strategic finance or special projects with the CFO across finance processes and workflows.
• Provocative and forward-looking perspectives for CFOs on AI and tech trends shaping finance.
• Strong analytical, storytelling and narrative-building abilities.
• Executive presence; credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent research and writing abilities; strong communication and presentation skills.
• Able to analyze data, extract patterns, and defend conclusions to clients.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, must-have insights content.
• Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership and actionable approaches.
• Perform in-depth analysis to identify root causes and drive strategy forward.
• Demonstrate thought leadership across a team of analysts.
• Provide provocative, independent insights to evolve research agendas.
• Research, analyze and predict market trends to offer actionable guidance.
• Deliver client-ready content via virtual or in-person interactions.
• Provide sales support and act as the voice of the market to drive engagement.
• Peer review high-quality content in a timely manner.
• Build credibility as Gartner insights and methodology spokeswoman.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Collaborate with the Insights community across diverse, global teams.
