Position Summary

We are seeking a polished, diligent, and detail-oriented Director of Catering to oversee catering functions for a busy corporate dining account. This role involves leading a passionate team, building client relationships, and ensuring high-quality catering services. If you have extensive experience in delivering high-quality catered events, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and oversee all on-site executive catering events.
2. Develop and maintain the catering marketing plan, including event planning, menu development, and client service.
3. Hire, train, and schedule catering staff; develop existing staff in service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures.
4. Ensure successful operation of catering functions, including labor and food cost control, transportation, setup, operation, and cleanup.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts is a plus.
2. Proven hospitality industry experience, with at least 2 years in catering management.
3. Successful leadership of a catering team; strong communication skills and client relationship management.
4. Experience in menu costing, pricing contracts, and resourcing staff and equipment.
5. Supervisory experience in food preparation, service, and cleanup.
