Job summary

The National Center for Urban Solutions - NCUS is seeking an Administrative Services lead in Columbus to support the SVP of NCUS TEC. You will assist in budget development, grant activities, program compliance, and evaluation processes while coordinating student services and community partnerships.

You will help manage facilities, organize events, and ensure compliance with reporting agencies, crisis response, and safety planning, while supervising staff and aligning with strategic plans across

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree with a major in education, educational leadership, or related field.
• Two (2) years of related teaching/supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: Providing administrative support in areas such as faculty and staff evaluation, budget development and management, grant development, compliance of programs, and student-related concerns.
• Student Services: Coordinating student retention efforts and enrollment management, developing community partners to ensure students are employed after training, and monitoring and measuring student success rates
• Facility Management: Overseeing campus facilities, ensuring maintenance and safety standards are met, and managing space allocation
• Event Coordination: Organizing and presenting events such as orientation sessions for new students and community outreach program
• Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with local and federal reporting agencies, handling crisis management, and ability to implement emergency preparedness and response plan.
• Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategic plans, analyzing data to improve efficiency and student services, and facilitating communication between departments
• Staff Supervision: Providing guidance and support to staff, fostering a collaborative work environment, and conducting regular meetings with department heads to discuss ongoing projects and address operational issues
