Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a divisional leadership executive to oversee service lines, initiatives, and staff across multiple programs. You will manage budgets, collaborate with administration on physician onboarding, and identify opportunities and threats while enhancing patient care through CME and specialized programs.

The role requires strong project management, marketing insight, and financial acumen, with extensive interaction with physicians and leadership.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology (Required).
• Advanced capability in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, Project, Planner, Teams, etc. (Required).
• Ability to coach and develop leaders and team members (Required).
• Ability to hold team members accountable for excellence (Required).
• Self-sufficiency in project development management and delivery (Required).
• Comfortable working in surgical and procedural environment (Required).
• High-level interaction with physicians and administration (Required).
• Analytical abilities with proficient use of analysis tools and data sets (Required).
• Understanding of marketing tactics and network development (Required).
• Understanding of department financial performance (Required).
• Understanding of developing business proposals to present to senior leadership (Required).
• Initiative, resourcefulness and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze data and create actionable improvement plans (Required).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, organize and integrate organization priorities and deadlines, and meet goals (Required).
• Ability to develop and initiate strategies for development of key programs (Required).
• Ability to use influence to drive change strategies in a matrix management environment (Required).
• Event planning skills (Preferred).
• Professional decision-making and proposing recommendations on short- and long-term strategy development concerning matters of major importance to our leaders (Preferred).
• Ability to develop actionable business strategy using a variety of inputs and assumptions (Preferred).
• Ability to navigate and develop contractual relationships with outside business entities, physicians, and other business partners. (Preferred).
• Strong understanding of service line level marketing strategies, with the ability to influence consumer behavior through marketing strategies developed with marketing professionals (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides divisional leadership oversight of service lines, initiatives, and staff.
• Directs multiple service lines, including disease-specific programs and CME events.
• Manages budgets by department and per event.
• Collaborates with administration to select and onboard physicians.
• Identifies service line opportunities and threats; attends meetings and conferences.
• Oversees marketing and branding materials for physicians and programs.
• Prepares and monitors departmental operating budgets; ensures staffing and resources.
• Other duties as assigned.
