Job summary

Prosperity Life Group seeks a Director of Capital Management to own capital analytics, modeling and regulatory capital insight. You will partner with actuarial, finance, treasury and reinsurance teams to ensure strong capital adequacy and ratings.

Reporting to the Vice President of Capital Management, you’ll lead RBC ownership, capital modeling, and rating agency support, driving strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in insurance finance, actuarial, or capital management.
• Strong understanding of SAP and NAIC RBC framework.
• Familiarity with rating agency capital frameworks (AM Best, S&P, KBRA).
• Experience with reinsurance structures and capital-impacting initiatives.
• Advanced Excel/modeling capabilities and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Own regulatory capital analytics (RBC) and NAIC reporting across entities.
• Develop, maintain and stress-test capital models for scenarios.
• Support rating agency processes with capital analysis and exhibits.
• Lead capital optimization initiatives including reinsurance strategies.
• Collaborate with FP&A, actuarial, treasury, and product teams on planning.
• Provide capital insights to leadership and board-facing materials.
• Drive improvements in analytics, reporting, and governance.
