Job summary

Prosperity Life Group in New York, NY is seeking a Director, Model Development to lead critical actuarial modeling initiatives within a fast-growing life and annuity organization. This role combines deep actuarial expertise with strong project leadership to advance enterprise models used for financial reporting, capital management, and strategic decision-making.

You will oversee multiple modeling workstreams, mentor teams, and partner with senior leaders to deliver high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• FSA credential required and 7+ years actuarial experience.
• Experience leading teams and complex initiatives.
• Deep expertise in U.S. Statutory accounting (PBR) and U.S. GAAP (LDTI).
• Strong experience with life and annuity products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, enhancement, and modernization of enterprise actuarial models.
• Oversee multiple modeling workstreams and strategic projects.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing actuarial team.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate modeling insights into business outcomes.
• Drive process improvements and governance for modeling platforms.
