Qualifications

• BS/BA in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field required; advanced degree preferred.
• FCAS/ACAS or equivalent actuarial credential strongly preferred.
• Typically 10+ years of actuarial, capital modeling, or enterprise risk management experience in (re)insurance.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for the Enterprise Economic Capital Model and keep it fit for purpose.
• Direct production of economic capital results and decision-support analytics for governance and planning.
• Navigate a matrixed partnership across business units to tailor engagement to needs.
• Provide decision-support for capital deployment, risk financing, and M&A.
• Advise senior executives with clear, actionable capital insights.
• Establish a common language for capital across the organization and governance forums.
• Extend capital and risk insights into new territory with matrixed partners.
• Contribute to and advance model governance, validation, and documentation.
• Partner with ERM on stress testing to translate risks into actionable recommendations.
• Unite separate teams into a stronger unit with disciplined execution.
• Drive ongoing improvements in modeling infrastructure and data quality.
