Job summary

Heartshare Wellness LTD seeks a Director of Capital Projects to lead design, planning, and execution of major capital improvements across our properties. You will supervise construction activities, coordinate with architects and contractors, and ensure projects meet timeline, budget, and safety standards while advancing accessibility and ADA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years managing capital projects, preferably in nonprofit/healthcare.
• Experience with budgets, schedules, and large complex portfolios.
• Onsite supervision and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of capital improvement projects across properties.
• Oversee budgets, change orders, invoices, and grant funding documentation.
• Ensure ADA compliance, universal design, and aging-in-place features.
• Manage schedules with contractors, vendors, and program staff.
• Provide progress updates to senior leadership and funders.
