Travaux, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Director of Capital Funds to lead modernization and capital development across the housing portfolio. You will plan, direct, and oversee projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise staff, prioritize capital initiatives, develop budgets and strategies for expanding development services, and review contracts and site work to ensure quality and accountability across all projects.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field required.
• 8–10 years of progressively responsible experience in construction management, capital planning, or housing development.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

• Supervises assigned staff, including prioritizing and assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, coordinating training, and managing hiring, disciplinary, and termination processes.
• Oversees daily operations of capital and development projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Assists in planning and implementing construction, renovation, and site improvement projects, including developing project budgets, selecting project teams, and performing related oversight tasks.
• Evaluates maintenance, modernization, and construction needs across housing developments and prioritizes projects based on agency goals and property needs.
• Reviews, evaluates, and monitors contracts; conducts site inspections to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and construction specifications.
• Develops strategic plans for expanding development services and enhancing capital project delivery for agency clients and stakeholders.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned.
