Job summary

Worley, a globally recognized energy, chemicals and resources leader, is seeking a Director of Business Development in Phoenix. You will lead a portfolio of strategic accounts, drive cross-functional collaboration, and shape solutions that span Worley’s full asset lifecycle—from exploration through decommissioning.

You will travel regionally as needed and partner with executive sponsors to grow value creation for clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience.
Extensive business development experience in mining or related engineering/construction sectors.
Experience selling large EPC/EPCM projects and managing multi-office execution.
Proven ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with senior customers.

Responsibilities

Grow and manage a portfolio of accounts, delivering Worley solutions end-to-end.
Develop sales pursuits, relationships, and strategic plans for target accounts.
Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Identify and develop new business opportunities from existing clients.
Maintain account plans and coordinate with internal teams to execute strategies.
Lead pricing strategy, prepare bids, and manage proposal budgets.
Negotiate contracts with support from operations, legal and risk teams.
Collaborate across Worley functions to deliver full capability to customers.
Represent Worley at events and conferences.
