We’re a growing player in the refurbished mobile phone industry, with years of experience supplying quality second-hand smartphones to a global customer base. Our current focus is on expanding our footprint into the telecom carrier space, including MVNOs and regional operators across North America, South America, and Africa. We're lean, agile, and ready to scale—and we need the right business development leadership to help us get there.

The Role

We’re looking for a part-time Director of Business Development with strong experience in telecom carrier procurement to spearhead strategic growth initiatives. Your primary goal is to open doors with telecom carriers and MVNOs, building partnerships that drive device sales and long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and build relationships with telecom carriers (major and MVNOs) and enterprise buyers.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy targeting carriers and large-scale buyers.
  • Negotiate and close supply agreements and distribution partnerships.
  • Provide insight into pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies to appeal to carriers.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership on planning and forecasting.
  • Maintain a pulse on market trends, competitor activities, and carrier purchasing behavior.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or B2B sales in the mobile phone or telecom industry.
  • Deep understanding of how telecom carriers purchase devices, especially in the prepaid, refurbished, or low-budget segments.
  • Existing relationships or contacts in the carrier ecosystem are a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable with a part-time commitment and remote collaboration.
