Director of Business Development
Location: This is a remote role open to candidates based in Texas, with periodic travel to client sites and industry events.
A cutting-edge systems integrator and wireless infrastructure provider is seeking a driven, results-oriented Director of Business Development to lead the charge in expanding their enterprise client base. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and grow strategic relationships with enterprise clients across a variety of verticals.
- Identify and close new business opportunities with a consultative, solution-based sales approach.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and project management teams to propose tailored wireless and DAS (Distributed Antenna System) solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution.
- Prepare proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations using standardized processes and tools.
- Maintain detailed records of activities and pipeline through CRM systems (NetSuite).
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends through active participation in conferences and partner engagements.
- Support marketing and strategic planning efforts by sharing client insights and competitive intelligence.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Proven track record in business development within the wireless, telecommunications, or connectivity infrastructure industries.
- Strong technical sales acumen with the ability to translate complex solutions into clear client value propositions.
- Familiarity with wireless systems including DAS, small cell, and managed services.
- Experience selling into enterprise-level clients, particularly in sectors such as healthcare, education, entertainment, or large commercial venues.
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with NetSuite or similar CRM tools.
