What you'll do

  • Lead a dedicated team of business development managers and recruiters who excel in showcasing highly-qualified IT professionals, both in leadership and specialist roles.
  • Coach team members in sourcing new business opportunities that strengthen isgSearch's already-impressive roster of leading corporate clients.
  • Source and form your own long-lasting relationships with diverse clients who are on the hunt for their next unicorn team members.
  • Mentor your team in the time-tested practice of cold-calling prospective clients.
  • Maintain current client relationships in ways that are attentive, exceptional, and service-driven.
  • Bring valuable market intelligence and insights to the table, advising and influencing internal partners and clients on the right candidate experiences for them.
  • Leverage every available opportunity to help cutting-edge companies build star teams.

Who you are

  • Sales trailblazer: You've got at least five years' experience in business development or sales for IT recruitment. Your track record speaks for itself, with successful placements that have made clients come back to you again and again.
  • Relationship builder: You know recruitment is all about connections. Your ability to build rapport with clients and candidates allows you to develop long-term relationships that lead to repeat business.
  • Income driver: You're motivated by results. You thrive in a performance-based environment and are eager to maximize commissions through exceptional placements and strong candidate relationships
  • Tenacious performer: You love the thrill of the hunt and you've never met a networking challenge that didn't excite you.
  • Empathetic leader: In addition to building your own book of business, this is a people-managing role, so the chance to guide and inspire a talented team should set your heart ablaze.


Must haves

  • Deep knowledge of the current IT skillsets in demand by leading companies
  • Ability to work on a flexible hybrid schedule
  • Willingness to learn and succeed in a fun, supportive, fast-moving environment
  • A top-notch understanding of the sales process
  • A general comfort with cold-calling prospective clients
  • Excellent, easy, human communication skills
  • Prior agency experience is considered an asset
  • Candidates with staffing sales experience are highly encouraged to apply
  • Previous leadership is not required, simply a strong drive to motivate others to be their best.
