About This Position

Genuine Foods is seeking a Business Development Director - Senior Living to produce, manage, and drive sales for our North American food services management business within various facilities. We look for high-caliber sales executives with leadership skills to advance our business. Business Development Directors at Genuine Foods are innovative, entrepreneurial, strategic, results-driven, and skilled at creating partnerships that deliver value for clients and the company. Candidates should have experience selling contract food service management in healthcare settings.

The Director will develop and implement sales strategies to establish our new division, targeting, growing, and selling facility management solutions in the Healthcare and Senior Services segments to both public and private clients. The role involves developing and selling large-scale, integrated cafeteria, vending, and food services management solutions.

This is a remote position with significant travel requirements.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Implement sales strategies independently and as part of a team to meet sales targets.
  • Develop and execute business plans, budgets, and forecasts to achieve sales, market share, and growth goals.
  • Manage planning, reporting, quota setting, sales process optimization, training, CRM data quality, and program implementation.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify process improvements and foster relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ensure successful implementation of new programs with a well-defined sales process.
  • Research growth strategies and competitor practices to inform new strategies.
  • Develop strategic plans for sustained sales growth, manage sales force effectiveness, and oversee account management.
  • Build internal relationships to promote market growth and comprehensive solutions.
  • Communicate important information to senior leadership and maintain CRM updates.
  • Attend client meetings, organize tastings, and meet bid requirements to build relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • At least 5 years of consultative sales experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience selling contract food service management solutions to Senior Living institutions.
  • Proven success in closing complex, multimillion-dollar contracts on a national/global scale.
  • Experience analyzing RFPs/RFIs and negotiating contracts.
  • Established client relationships with U.S. Colleges and Universities.
  • Ability to lead others in a high-volume business environment.
  • Excellent persuasion, influence, and closing skills.
