Job summary

SRT Therapeutics Inc. seeks a Director, Biology to lead project teams across Biology, driving cross-functional drug development from discovery through IND-enabling studies.

This hands-on role covers target biology, assay development, lead profiling, translational research, and coordination with CMC, DMPK, regulatory, and toxicology to ensure robust programs with clear clinical value. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 10+ years in biotech/pharma drug discovery and development.
• Experience leading both small molecule and biologics programs in cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on assay development across binding, functional, and cell-based assays.
• Experience with lead profiling and candidate nomination.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across international sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead Biology project team and drive day-to-day drug development from discovery to IND-enabling studies.
• Design and oversee biochemical, biophysical, and cell-based assays.
• Support lead profiling and candidate selection decisions.
• Design translational studies linking PK/PD and efficacy to clinical strategy.
• Plan IND-enabling studies in collaboration with CMC, DMPK, regulatory.
• Manage CRO/CDMO relationships ensuring timelines and quality.
• Present data and strategy to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
