Job summary

Madison Energy Infrastructure is seeking a Director of Battery Asset Management to architect and run the operating platform behind our national, distributed battery fleet. With 80 MW online across 30 sites and 5 states, you will shape how the fleet operates today and scales for the coming years.

You’ll manage one Battery Asset Manager initially, while hands-on with OEMs, troubleshooting, and negotiating O&M agreements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience with distributed generation battery systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Experience reading three-line diagrams and OEM manuals.

Responsibilities

• Own fleet performance metrics and report on targets.
• Build and maintain the battery monitoring platform with analytics.
• Negotiate and administer O&M agreements and long-term service contracts.
• Ensure fire safety, code compliance, and incident response.
• Manage and grow the Battery Asset Manager team as the fleet scales.
• Possess commercial fluency to understand ownership structures and IRR.
