Job summary

Madison Energy Infrastructure seeks a Director of Battery Asset Management to build and run the operating platform behind a national, distributed battery fleet. You will lead hands-on OEM interactions, troubleshoot remotely, review alarms, negotiate O&M agreements, and drive the system that enables scale.

You will own fleet performance, reporting cadence, and the long-term service strategy while growing a team and ensuring safety and compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with distributed generation battery systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with O&M contracts or LTSA.
• Management experience with at least one direct report.

Responsibilities

• Lead fleet performance and ensure high availability and timely dispatch.
• Build and oversee the battery asset management platform and dashboards.
• Negotiate and administer O&M agreements and service contracts.
• Oversee fire safety, code compliance, and vendor oversight.
• Manage a Battery Asset Manager and scale the team with fleet growth.
• Drive commercial fluency including project finance concepts.
