Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing subsidiary, seeks a senior leader to manage Avionics and Electro-Mechanical manufacturing teams for satellite components. You will guide engineers and technicians to achieve safe, high-quality production with cost improvements, and drive capacity and bottleneck strategies to support core missions.

The role reports to the VP of Manufacturing and oversees transitions from LRIP to higher-rate production, as well as cross-location manufacturing scalability and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years’ experience in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, test engineering materials and process engineering, or similar field in Aerospace, Automotive, or Commercial industries.
• Subject matter expertise in harnessing, PCB assemblies, structural assembly, or related areas.
• Experience working with a union represented workforce.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to manufacturing personnel.
• Ensure product is manufactured safely to the highest quality standards and service levels while achieving cost improvement goals.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the health of Manufacturing and Production with respect to capacity, work force, throughput, and bottle necks.
• Assist with factory build efforts regarding staffing, planning of satellite production lines, and flight program builds.
