Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks a Manager of Production Engineering to lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers, applying design for manufacturability and continuous improvement to deliver space‑grade structures, propulsion hardware, and electrical components with safety and reliability.

You will bridge production and design to secure resources and drive growth in manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering.
• At least one year of leadership experience or completion of Boeing leadership training.
• 3+ years of wire harness design, installation, or equipment installation.
• Ability to communicate across technical teams and evaluate technical information.
• Must be eligible for US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in Production Engineering.
• Develop and execute project and process plans, policies and procedures, and set operational goals.
• Acquire resources, manage suppliers, and lead process improvements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manage, develop and motivate employees.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to enable on-floor build and assembly.
