Job summary

Georgetown University is seeking a Director of AV Support to lead the design, implementation, and operation of audiovisual systems across the Hilltop and Capitol Campuses. You will manage a team of AV engineers and technicians, shaping a strategic plan for AV services that aligns with the university’s goals and supports teaching, learning, and events.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) with 7–10 years in AV technology and 3–5 years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT or related field required.
• 7–10 years in AV technology with 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience designing, installing and maintaining complex AV systems.
• Experience in higher education or corporate environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor AV engineers and technicians.
• Develop a strategic plan for AV technology across campuses.
• Oversee design, installation and maintenance of AV in classrooms and spaces.
• Manage departmental budget and resources for AV services.
