Manheim Tampa is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee Auction operations across the Tampa Market Center and surrounding locations. This role focuses on achieving efficiency and profitability while leading a team and upholding Cox/Manheim values.

You will work with department managers to hit sales and financial goals, develop staff, manage the budget, and ensure safe vehicle handling on the lot. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills along

Formación

• Equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• High School Diploma and 15 years of relevant experience in related field.
• Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant experience in a related field and 5 years of leadership experience.
• Master's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience in related field.
• Ph.D and 5 years of relevant experience in related field.
• Strong Sales, Financial and/or Administrative Management background.

Responsabilidades

• Assist and work with General Manager to manage, direct and coordinate the overall operations of the Auction.
• Work with department managers to achieve Auction sales and financial goals and objectives while maintaining an efficient operation.
• Foster open communication with Auction employees and communicate vision, direction and priorities.
• Provide development opportunities for staff and feedback to maximize performance.
• Assist with annual budget preparation by reviewing sales, expenses and other financial data.
• Review KPI standards/targets, payroll expense and FTE reports.
• Assist Arbitration in resolving customer problems to attain mutual agreement.
• Communicate with General Manager and department managers to identify potential problems in Auction operations.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions and trends to respond to changes.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships for quality service and products.
• Monitor staffing levels and compare performance against KPIs; develop improvement strategies.
• Lead management of dealer and commercial customer relationships and service levels.
• Manage activities of various departments and lead the location's management team.
• Ensure employees are treated with respect and uphold Cox/Manheim values.
• Coordinate activities of departments and ensure safe vehicle movement on lot.
• Create location goals and cascade them for coordinated effort and accountability.
• Work with managers to ensure performance reviews and link rewards.
• Identify talent and create development plans.
• Promote a safe work environment and enforce policies.
• Collaborate with market support teams to align processes with company objectives.
• Demonstrate safety commitment and support Safety Excellence.
• Support Online/OVE sales and promotions.
• Cultivate relationships with customers through multiple engagement channels.
• Support sales through cross-team communication between customer support and market teams.
• Provide leadership and training for managers of customer-facing departments.
• Ensure high standards of customer service across the location.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
